Dr. Azouz is one of the few plastic surgeons in the United States who has extensive experience in the reconstruction of the chest in patients with Poland Syndrome. Patients with rare conditions such as neurofibromatosis, gastroschisis/belly button deformities, and a history of ear gauging travel from all over the world to see Dr. Azouz. Preoperative Photography

Photographs can be especially helpful in planning plastic surgery in Dallas. “Selfies” can be helpful, however, photographs taken by a loved one or friend are usually best. Be sure to take photographs with the best quality settings possible in a well-lit room.

For Chest, Breast, and Body the lateral, front, and three-quarter views are helpful. If there is a particular spot that is bothersome for example a lump in the breast or gynecomastia, then a zoomed-in view of that location can be helpful.

With all photography done and received by Dr. Azouz privacy is paramount. In body views, the face should not be included in the photographs for enhanced privacy.

Dallas Love Field is the regional airport for the Dallas area situated near University Park and Highland Park. It is located approximately 20 minutes from Dr. Azouz’s office at Medical City Dallas. There are direct and connecting flights from Love Field to many of the smaller Texas cities including Midland/Odessa, Tyler/Longview, Wichita Falls, Lubbock, Amarillo, Waco, and Harlingen.

Getting Around Dallas/Fort Worth Plano and Surrounding Areas

Some patients elect to rent a car during their stay and others choose ride-sharing services, such as Uber and Lyft. Parking is usually easy and available throughout the city.

The Arts District in the northern section of Downtown Dallas is home to several art venues and it is the largest contiguous arts district in the U.S. Patients enjoy spending time at the Dallas Museum of Art, Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, The Dallas World Aquarium, and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

Klyde Warren Park, a public park in Downtown Dallas, hosts many events such as outdoor yoga and music performances. This urban park built over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway also houses a variety of food trucks, the Savor Gastropub, and is centered between the art and sculpture museums.

Patients also enjoy walking around the Dallas Zoo, which is the largest zoo in Texas, or the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Both offer different exhibits depending on the time of year, so they can visit these again and again.
